Description

In DOG Cards, players are on a mission to create rows of number cards in front of them, with the goal of being the first to complete two rows, or in a team setup, being part of the first team where each player has a completed row. This card game is all about strategic hand management and pattern building, making it a fun and engaging experience for 2 to 4 players. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, DOG Cards is a great option for a quick game night, lasting around 20 minutes. The game starts with each player receiving a hand of cards and a face-up row of 13 cards on the table. From there, players take turns performing one of several actions, such as buying a card from the face-up row, starting a new row, or adding to an existing one. The deck is filled with 104 number cards, as well as special cards like jokers and thieves, which can be used to disrupt opponents or gain an advantage. For example, a joker can be used to buy any card, while a thief allows you to steal a card from the end of someone's row. With these special powers, players must think strategically about when to use their cards and how to build their rows to win the game. Designed by Michael Kiesling and Wolfgang Kramer, DOG Cards has been a popular choice for card game enthusiasts since its release in 2014. The game's combination of simple rules and strategic depth makes it accessible to new players, while also offering challenges for experienced gamers. With its quick playtime and social interaction, DOG Cards is a great addition to any game night, perfect for a fun and relaxed evening with friends. Whether you're playing in teams or competing individually, DOG Cards is a game that will keep you on your toes and leave you wanting to play again.
