Newton: New Horizon is an exciting expansion that takes the original Newton game to new heights. Released in 2022, this expansion offers a fresh technology track, filled with opportunities to earn valuable victory points. With its normal complexity rules, fans of the series and experienced board game players will have no trouble diving in and exploring the new features. Designed by Simone Luciani and Nestore Mangone, Newton: New Horizon introduces new spaces on the board that reward players with victory points under special conditions, as well as objective spaces that offer double the points. As players navigate the board, they'll discover that having at least one student on a triangular space can earn them a bonus victory point every time they perform a specific action. This bonus can be triggered through basic actions, special effects from action cards, or effects from invention tiles and master cards. The expansion also features two objective spaces with a x2 symbol, which require five volumes to unlock and offer double the victory points provided by the objective tile. With its engaging gameplay and new challenges, Newton: New Horizon is a great addition to the Newton series, suitable for 1 to 4 players and offering a playtime of around 90 minutes.
