Description

In a world ravaged by the Dread, where ghosts howl in the night and skinchangers lurk in the wilds, the return of the Phoenixes is the only hope for salvation. You are one of these legendary champions, supernaturally empowered to face death and return stronger than before. In Phoenix: Dawn Command, you'll embark on a series of missions with your fellow Phoenixes, each one a desperate bid to defend a fantasy world under attack by threats that no mortal could withstand. With a unique approach to character death, this card-based roleplaying game turns the traditional notion of defeat on its head, making every death a new beginning. As you play with 2 to 5 friends, you'll experience a game that's as much about strategy and deck-building as it is about roleplaying and storytelling. The game mechanics, designed by Keith Baker and Dan Garrison, are a bit complicated, but the payoff is well worth the investment of time to learn. Published in 2016, Phoenix: Dawn Command has been thrilling players with its dark fantasy setting and innovative gameplay. With its blend of deck, bag, and pool building, you'll need to adapt and evolve your strategy to succeed. Will you answer the call to become a Phoenix and save the world from the brink of destruction?
