Description

Viticulture: Arboriculture and Formaggio Expansions is the perfect addition to your Viticulture game, bringing new levels of complexity and fun to the table. This expansion pack, designed by Jamey Stegmaier and Alan Stone, doubles the complexity of the original game and adds about 15 minutes to the overall playtime, making it a great fit for 2 to 6 players who are familiar with board games. With a playtime of 75 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to explore the new features and mechanics without feeling overwhelmed. The Arboriculture expansion introduces new crops like olive oil, apples, and tomatoes, which are harvested on the fields just like grapes, but processed on an extension to the vineyard mat. This allows for more strategic planning and worker management, as the extra crops can be used to improve worker morale and add value to wine orders. The 18 new "arbor" cards also bring new opportunities and challenges, as they can be drawn by using the "draw a vine card" action. On the other hand, the Formaggio expansion lets you trade for cows, make cheese, and add it to your wine orders for extra points. With 18 cows and six cheese cellar tokens, you'll have to navigate the new cheesemonger, affinatore, and formager structures to get the most out of your cheese production.
