The expansion introduces three new tokens - Helmets, Ships, and Scrolls - each representing a different aspect of ancient civilization: Heroes, Traders, and Science. These tokens can be bought using an action, provided you have the majority of the matching symbol in your display, and they offer unique features that can be used once per turn. For example, the Helmets token allows you to buy an additional card for just 1 victory point, while the Ships token lets you trade one of your cards with an open card. The Scrolls token is particularly powerful, as it lets you change the order of monument cards when expanding a monument. Each token is worth 2 victory points immediately, and a whopping 3 additional victory points at the end of the game.
