Description

MechAge: Attack of Varanor is an exciting expansion to the MechAge base game, where you get to take on a massive Lizard Mutant that's wreaking havoc on the city. Your Mech's trial mission may have been a success, but now it's time to put your skills to the test against this behemoth of a creature. With the city under attack, you'll need to fire up your reactor, reload your magazines, and get ready to take on the monster and its swarms of parasited minions. The game is designed to be simple to learn, with easy-to-explain rules that get you into the action quickly. You'll use a combination of Action Queue and Variable Player Powers to take down the Lizard Mutant, making each playthrough unique and challenging. As you battle your way through the city, you'll need to keep track of the DEFCON tracker, monster health, parasite strength, and population and property damage tokens, which you'll need to provide yourself. The expansion comes with a rules booklet, a scenario card, and two new Mech cards, including the Power Sword and Heavy Cannon Mechs, giving you more options to take on the enemy. In about 20 to 45 minutes, you'll be immersed in a thrilling adventure, taking on the Lizard Mutant and its minions in a solo gameplay experience.
