Get ready to face the darkness of Mordor like never before with The Lord of the Rings: The Card Game – Nightmare Decks: The Black Riders. This expansion pack is designed for 1 to 2 players and can be played in 30 to 90 minutes, but be warned, the game rules can be a bit complicated and might take some time to learn. Published in 2015 by game designer Caleb Grace, this cooperative game challenges you to work together with your fellow player to overcome the deadly Nazgûl and other obstacles. With hand management and variable player powers, you'll need to make tough decisions to survive the perilous journey to Mount Doom. The Black Riders Nightmare Decks introduce new setup and encounter decks that greatly increase the difficulty of the scenarios, exploring new themes and characters like Khamûl the Easterling. The Nazgûl are more persistent and deadlier than ever, forcing you into difficult decisions as doom closes in. If you're playing in Campaign Mode, your choices will haunt you throughout the journey, making the weight of the One Ring feel heavier than ever.
