In Bugs & Co, you'll be joining a frantic party with up to 7 other players, all racing to collect sets of matching bugs at the same time. The game is incredibly straightforward to learn, with simple rules that can be explained in a flash, making it accessible to everyone. Since the game only lasts for 5 minutes, you can jump right in and start having fun without a huge time commitment. Published in 2011, this game is the brainchild of renowned designers Bruno Faidutti, Pierrick Yakovenko, and Pierrick Yakovenko, who clearly knew how to craft a game that's both easy to pick up and impossible to put down. The goal is to gather as many families of three identical bugs as you can, while avoiding impostors that might look similar but don't quite match. To do this, you'll be flipping over and grabbing bug tiles one by one, using only one hand, and trying to remember what you've already picked up. As you collect tiles, you'll place them in your other hand, face down, without being able to look at them again or put them back on the table. This real-time memory challenge will keep you on your toes, and any mistakes will come with a price - penalty points for incomplete and mismatched sets at the end of the game. To add an extra layer of excitement, there are also "trophy" tiles laid out on the table, which you can grab to earn bonus points. But be warned - taking a trophy tile means you're out of the game, and the countdown to the end begins. When the last trophy tile is taken, players start calling out a ten-second countdown, and the game comes to a thrilling close.
