The Sweet Mess: Christmas Gifts & Goodies Expansion is here to spice up your gameplay with new themed Recipe and Event Cards, as well as exciting gameplay rules. Designed by Antonio Zax and released in 2022, this expansion is the perfect addition to the base game, Sweet Mess, and can be enjoyed by 2 to 4 players in 45 to 90 minutes. The Christmas desserts in this expansion are truly special, requiring the Super-ingredient, a wild card that can be used in place of any other ingredient, but offering a unique bonus when baked. But that's not all, the introduction of the Mastery Die adds a whole new level of excitement to the game. After baking a Christmas dessert, players get to roll the Mastery Die and collect a Mastery Token that matches the result. These tokens can be used to score Cooking Points, with each token matching a mastery icon on a scored Recipe Card worth 1 point. This fun twist on Ingredient Masteries adds a fresh layer of depth to the game and can be included or excluded from play, making it an optional module that's easy to incorporate.
