Description

Unluckables is a wild and wacky card game where you get to adopt and care for a bunch of mischievous creatures that were created to give bad luck, but instead they absorb it. As a player, you'll get to play tricks, activate unique abilities, and try to collect as many Skellies as possible without getting too unlucky. The game is designed for 2 to 6 players and takes around 30 to 60 minutes to play, making it a great addition to any game night. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be up and running in no time, thanks to the genius of game designer Derek Zyn. As you play, you'll get to perform a variety of actions, including drawing cards, playing items and tricks, adopting new Unluckables, releasing ones that are no longer useful, and activating the abilities of your adopted creatures. You'll also get to trade cards with other players, which can be a great way to get the cards you need or get rid of ones that are no longer useful. The game also features a unique hand size mechanic, where you start with a hand size of 5 cards, but can increase it as you play. This adds a fun layer of strategy to the game, as you'll need to balance the number of cards in your hand with the actions you want to take. The goal of the game is to be the first player to collect 13 or more Skellies, but there are also alternate win conditions that add an extra layer of excitement to the game.
