Bluffing, Deduction
Description
Get ready for a fishing adventure like no other with Gone Fishing, a game of bluffing and deduction for two players. Designed by Michael Rieneck and published in 2005, this game is all about outsmarting your opponent and coming out on top. One player takes on the role of the anglers, trying to catch as many fish as possible, while the other player controls the fish, using clever tactics to throw the anglers off their game. The twist is that the anglers are fishing in the dark, with fish cards placed face down, so they have no idea what they're reeling in until it's too late. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Gone Fishing is easy to pick up and play, with each game lasting around 40 minutes. The goal is to accumulate the most points by catching the most valuable fish, but the fish player is always trying to sabotage the anglers' efforts by getting them to catch garbage or small fish instead. After two games, with players switching roles, the player with the most points is declared the winner. With its unique blend of strategy and luck, Gone Fishing is a thrilling game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, wondering what you'll catch next.
