Description

Alam Halfa is a World War 2 game that drops you into the midst of one of the most pivotal battles in history, where Axis and Allied forces clashed in Egypt from August 31st to September 5th, 1942. As one of the two players, you'll take on the role of either the Axis forces, led by Field Marshall Erwin Rommel, or the Allied forces, comprising the British 8th Army. The game is an operational level simulation, which means you'll be making strategic decisions that can turn the tide of the battle. With easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right into the action, using dice rolling and a hexagon grid to navigate the battlefield. As you play, you'll experience the intensity of war, using simulation mechanics to recreate the challenges and triumphs of the real battle. The game is designed by Nigel Hickman and Chris Harding, and has been thrilling players since its release in 2008. With a playtime of 180 minutes, you'll have plenty of time to immerse yourself in the game and explore different strategies. Whether you're a history buff or just a fan of strategic gameplay, Alam Halfa is a game that will keep you on the edge of your seat, as you fight for victory in one of the most famous battles of World War 2.
