Description

Get ready for a thrilling adventure with Astérix et les Romains, a classic board game designed by Klaus Teuber and first published in 1990. In this simple yet strategic game, 2 to 6 players compete to collect the most Roman helmets, racing against each other to win a bet. The game is easy to learn, with rules that can be explained quickly, making it accessible to players of all ages and skill levels. As you move through the game, you'll navigate from the Roman camp to the village and back, collecting cards and trying to outmaneuver your opponents. But beware, obstacles are lurking around every corner. Assurancetourix the Bard's terrible singing can send you fleeing back three spaces, and tripping over menhirs can cost you a valuable card. And when two players end up in the same space, a tussle ensues, with one card being swapped randomly. The game requires strategic thinking, as you decide which dice to use - the slow one or the fast one - and try to outsmart your opponents. With 48 Roman cards worth varying numbers of helmets, and red cards that can deduct from your score, the game is full of surprises. Will you emerge victorious and collect the most helmets, or will your opponents outmaneuver you? With a playtime of just 60 minutes, you can find out in no time.
