Description

Squadro is a fast-paced abstract strategy game for two players that's easy to learn and plays out in just 20 minutes. Designed by Adrián Jiménez Pascual and published in 2018, the game challenges you to be the first to make a return trip with four of your five pieces. The game board is set up with each player's pieces in troughs on their side, and players move their pieces based on the strength indicated in the trough they're leaving. As you move your pieces across the board, you'll need to think strategically about when to take risks and when to play it safe. Passing over an opponent's piece can send it back to its starting point and give you an extra boost forward. But don't be afraid to put your pieces in harm's way - sometimes letting your opponent take a piece can actually work to your advantage by limiting their future moves. With its simple rules and deep strategy, Squadro is a game that's all about outmaneuvering your opponent and having fun while doing it.
