Description

In Avanti mare!, a fishing boat is on the move, heading downstream towards the sea, and it's up to the fish to escape or get caught. Players can choose to back either the fish or the fishermen, adding a fun cooperative twist to the game. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this 30-minute game is perfect for 1 to 6 players, including children. The game is all about the roll of the dice, as players take turns rolling a colored die to determine whether the boat or the fish move closer to their goal. Will the fish make it to the safety of the open water, or will the boat catch them? With its nautical theme and fun dice-rolling mechanic, Avanti mare! is a classic game that's been delighting players since its release in 2000, designed by renowned game designer Günter Burkhardt.
