Description

Darkrock Ventures is a thrilling worker placement game set in a hostile outer space environment where players control a mining company, navigating harsh conditions to acquire the most credits. With easy-to-learn rules, 1 to 5 players can join in on the fun, exploring the asteroid field to mine and export valuable resources. The game plays out in a relatively short 30 to 45 minutes, making it a great option for a quick gaming session. As players take turns placing workers and rolling dice to successfully mine resources, they must also contend with hostile alien ships that begin patrolling and attacking after minerals start being exported. With variable player powers and the ability to acquire additional resources and protective measures, players must strategically manage their workers and credits to come out on top. The game ends when three of the six resource nodes on the asteroid are depleted, and the player with the most credits is declared the winner.
