Corsair Leader drops you into the Pacific Theater of World War II, where you'll take command of Marine F4U Corsairs during the Solomon Islands campaign. As the sole player, you'll experience the thrill of solo gameplay, making tactical decisions that can turn the tide of battle. With easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right into the action, which can last anywhere from 45 to 120 minutes. The game is all about simulation, putting you in the cockpit of historic aircraft like the Corsair, and also giving you the option to include other planes like Dauntlesses, B-25s, and B-17s in your squadron. Each aircraft has its unique strengths and weaknesses, and you'll need to use them strategically to succeed. You can choose to make your planes "Offensive" for an attack bonus, but this also makes them more vulnerable to enemy fire. Alternatively, you can play it safe with a "Defensive" stance, which penalizes your attacks but makes your planes harder to hit.
