In Alpha Omega, you'll take on the role of a commander in a distant future space setting, navigating the complexities of intergalactic warfare. This classic 1977 game, designed by Sean Hayes, is a thrilling experience for 2 to 3 players, with each session lasting around 120 minutes. With a normal level of complexity, it's easy for board game enthusiasts to dive right in and start exploring the game's many mechanics, including action points, dice rolling, and simultaneous action selection. As you engage in scenarios that span from civil wars to alien invasions, you'll need to strategically manage your units, laying mines, capturing cargo, and jamming sensors to outmaneuver your opponents. With different technologies and vessels at your disposal, each battle is a unique challenge. By secretly plotting your moves and resolving them simultaneously, you'll experience the thrill of space combat, rolling dice and consulting tables to determine the outcome of your actions. Will you emerge victorious, or will your opponents outmaneuver you?
