Description

Get ready for a thrilling game of Pentris, where strategy meets speed. In this real-time puzzle game, 2 to 100 players compete to score the highest by completing columns and rows on their 10x10 grid. Each round, a dice throw determines which two Tetris-like pentominoes are up for grabs, and players must quickly choose one and draw it on their sheet, rotating it to fit perfectly. The twist is that the shapes must be connected to existing full squares, and gravity affects how they're placed. As the game unfolds, players rotate their sheet 90 degrees clockwise at the end of each round, adding an extra layer of challenge. With simple rules that can be explained in no time, Pentris is easy to learn but hard to master. Designed by Léandre Proust and published in 2019, this abstract strategy game is perfect for those who love puzzles and video game themes, and can be played in just 10 to 20 minutes.
