Description

Hofnar is a party game that's all about building words letter by letter, and it's ridiculously simple to learn. The rules can be explained in no time, making it easy for 4 to 8 players to jump in and start playing. The game is designed by Jesper Elkjær and Gert Nyhave Nielsen, and it's a great example of a word game that's perfect for a fun night in with friends. In Hofnar, players take turns adding letters to a word, but here's the twist - each player thinks of a new word that starts with the letters already given. For example, if the first player starts with the letter "B" and thinks of the word "board", they might say the letter "O" out loud. The next player then thinks of a new word that starts with "BO", like "boulder", and adds the letter "U". The game continues until someone can't think of a word or only has one letter left to complete a word. It's a hilarious and challenging game that's sure to keep you and your friends entertained.
