Description

Wayfarers of the South Tigris drops you into the vibrant world of the Abbasid Caliphate, circa 820 AD, where you'll embark on thrilling adventures as an explorer, cartographer, and astronomer. Starting from Baghdad, you'll navigate the surrounding lands, waterways, and celestial bodies, all while managing your trusty caravan of workers and equipment. Your goal is to impress the Caliph by mapping the unknown and journaling your discoveries at the esteemed House of Wisdom. As you venture forth, you'll earn victory points by charting new territories, upgrading your caravan, and gaining inspiration from nobles. Influencing the guilds of science, trade, and exploration will also boost your score. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, you'll need to balance strategy and luck to outdo your fellow players and emerge victorious. Will you rise to the challenge and become the most renowned wayfarer, or will the wilderness get the better of you?
