Description

In MOD X, a quick and easy-to-learn abstract strategy game, 2 to 4 players compete to create scoring patterns on the board. With just 25 minutes of playtime, this game is perfect for a fun and fast-paced experience. The goal is simple: reach a certain number of points by creating patterns like an X, a +, or a line, each requiring five pieces. As players take turns placing their pieces, they must balance creating their own patterns with blocking their opponents from scoring. Score markers are placed on the board to mark successful patterns, but beware - opponents can steal your points by creating patterns over your markers. The game ends when one player reaches the target score or runs out of pieces, with the player having the most points declared the winner. Published in 2012 and designed by Joan Wilkinson and Mark Wilkinson, MOD X is a great choice for those looking for a lighthearted and strategic game.
