Description
In Black Forest, you'll embark on a journey to build and expand your domain, starting from a small village in need of growth and development. As you travel through the medieval landscape, you'll enlist the help of specialists who will aid you in collecting resources, laying out new landscape tiles, and constructing various buildings. With four types of buildings to choose from, you'll need to strategically decide which ones to build and where to place them to maximize your resources and production. The game features a unique mechanic, with two resource wheels on your tableau, similar to those found in Glass Road, helping you keep track of your progress. As you navigate the game, you'll have to balance your resources, make the most of your specialists' abilities, and use worker placement to your advantage. With a wide selection of buildings and different effects, there are many paths to victory, making each playthrough unique and challenging. Whether you're playing solo or with up to three friends, Black Forest offers a engaging and immersive experience that will keep you coming back for more. With its normal complexity level, fans of board games will have no issue learning the rules, and the 60 to 120 minute playtime makes it an ideal game for a fun evening with friends or a solo adventure.
