Description
The Battle at Kemble's Cascade is a thrilling board game where 1 to 5 players take on the roles of brave space pilots, competing to obtain the most glory in a classic shoot 'em up video game adaptation. Set in a scrolling space backdrop, players navigate through asteroid clusters, searching for universal glory and ancient technology. They can earn glory by completing missions, finding lost treasure, and destroying alien entities, as well as other players. As players fly through the ever-scrolling space setting, they must balance their ship's energy to absorb enemy fire, boost movement speed, and increase fire rate. With fully upgradeable ships and a "threat level" mechanism, the game keeps everyone in suspense, allowing players to enjoy the satisfaction of shooting and dodging hundreds of bullets. With normal complexity rules, familiar board game players can easily learn and dive into the action, which typically lasts around 75 minutes.
