Description

Terra Evolution is a strategic deck-building game that's all about evolving species, surviving cataclysms, and outsmarting your opponents. In this fast-paced game, you'll build your world continent by continent, rising above the ocean, and then conquer them with your evolving species. With easy-to-learn rules, you'll quickly dive into the game, making skillful deck-building decisions, managing resources and population, and timing your moves to defeat your opponents. The game is designed for 2 to 4 players and takes about 45 minutes to play, making it a great option for a fun and engaging game night. As you play, you'll need to defend your species from extinction, while also planning strategic attacks against your opponents, such as ice ages, volcanoes, or asteroid impacts. With a high replayability value, Terra Evolution offers a unique experience each time you play, allowing you to experiment with different styles and strategies. Designed by Esa Wiik, Jaana Hintsanen, and Tomi Rantala, this 2011 game is a polished version of the print-and-play game Evolution Earth: Cataclysm, and its combination of deck, bag, and pool building, hand management, and set collection mechanics makes it a challenging and addictive game that's fun to play again and again.
