Party Game, Word Game
Description
In Traitor Word, a quick-witted party game designed by Jean Paul Monnet and Ségolène Monnet, players must navigate a web of words to outsmart their opponents. With a simple set of rules that can be explained in no time, 3 to 6 players can dive into a fast-paced game that's perfect for a fun night in. Each player starts with a handful of word cards, featuring two words apiece, and the goal is to say a word related to the previous player's word without getting caught. As players take turns saying a word related to the previous one, they must carefully choose their words to score points. If a player says a word that's on one of their cards and no one accuses them, they score a point. But if someone correctly accuses them of holding the word, the accuser gets the point instead. With accusations flying back and forth, players must stay on their toes to win. The first player to collect 5 points wins the game, which typically takes around 15 minutes to play. Published in 2023, Traitor Word is a great addition to any game night, combining the excitement of a party game with the challenge of a word game.
