Description
Star Trek: The Card Game is a fun and easy-to-learn game for 2 players that takes about 45 minutes to play. Designed by Jeff Grubb and Margaret Weis, this 1996 game is based on the original Star Trek series and features collectible components and a science fiction theme. Players take turns being the Current Player, completing episodes made up of Mission, Plot, and Discovery cards, while the opposing player represents obstacles as the Challenging Player. The game is all about completing episodes and earning points, called XC, which are added to the core crew cards, including Kirk, Spock, and McCoy. The first player to accumulate 25+ XC total on their crew wins. With its simple rules and exciting gameplay, Star Trek: The Card Game is a great option for fans of the series and card game enthusiasts alike. The game's use of shots from the series on the cards is a nice touch, making it a must-play for Star Trek fans.
