Description

Unauthorized is a social deduction game that's all about influencing others to join your side, whether that's the state or the underground church. With 6 to 12 players, this 20 to 40 minute game is perfect for big groups and parties. Each player has a unique ability thanks to their public role card, and their loyalty can shift as they collect experience cards. The goal is to win over a majority of players to your cause, with the church players having the added challenge of keeping at least one of their own out of prison. What sets Unauthorized apart from other social deduction games is its dynamic loyalty system and honest gameplay - you don't have to lie to win. Designed by Patrick Lysaght and published in 2017, this game replicates the tension of living in an underground movement, making for a thrilling and unpredictable experience.
