Bluffing, Card Game
Description
In Contraband, a classic game from 1950, 3 to 6 players take turns trying to sneak their goods past the Customs Agent. Each player draws four cards from a deck of items like wine, cigars, and cameras, and then declares what they're carrying - but they don't have to tell the truth. The Customs Agent has to decide whether to believe them or search their luggage, which can lead to fines or even a payout for defamation of character. As players take on the roles of travelers and Customs Agents, they'll need to use their bluffing skills to get away with their contraband. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, Contraband is a quick and fun game that's perfect for a 20-minute play session. Add in the possibility of becoming an Informant or getting diplomatic immunity with a special attache case card, and you've got a game that's full of surprises and social interaction.
