Description
Forbidden Stars is a game of intergalactic conquest where 2 to 4 players take command of a mighty fighting force, each with unique armies and play styles. The goal is to claim key objectives scattered throughout the Herakon Cluster, but opponents will fiercely defend them. Players must build massive armies and command them in unending war to best their enemies and claim their objectives. The game is divided into three phases, allowing for a balance of short-term bluffing and long-term tactical military action. Players place order tokens, reveal them to take actions such as dominating planets, strategizing, deploying, and advancing, and then refresh their resources and heal units. With a playtime of 120 to 180 minutes, Forbidden Stars requires strategic thinking and planning, making it a challenging and engaging experience for fans of science fiction and wargames.
