Description

In the world of 51st State: Ultimate Edition, the rules of society have been turned upside down. The United States has collapsed, and thirty years after the war started, new powers are emerging to take control of the ruined country. Players take on the role of one of four factions - Mutants, Traders, New Yorkers, and Appalachians - as they try to build their own new country. With a playtime of 60 to 90 minutes, this game is perfect for 1 to 4 players looking for a challenging and immersive experience. The game mechanics, including hand management, card drafting, variable player powers, and worker placement, make for a thrilling game that will keep you on the edge of your seat. As you navigate the post-apocalyptic world, you'll have to make tough decisions about how to use your cards, which can be played in three different ways. You can invade a location to gain a wealth of resources, sign a contract to gain a steady stream of resources, or attach the location to your state to unlock new skills. With the Gamefound edition, you'll get access to a wealth of additional content, including eight factions to play as, a dedicated neoprene playmat, and engraved wooden markers. Designed by Joanna Kijanka and Ignacy Trzewiczek, 51st State: Ultimate Edition is a game of strategy and skill that will challenge and reward you, whether you're a seasoned gamer or just looking for a new adventure.
