Description

Rect is a quick and simple abstract strategy game that's perfect for 2 to 4 players. The game takes place on a grid, where each player starts with a pawn at an intersection. On your turn, you move your pawn along the grid, making exactly one turn, and place two markers - one where you turned and one where you landed. The catch is that no player can pass through or land on an existing marker, which adds a layer of bluffing and strategy to the game. As players take turns moving their pawns, the grid starts to fill up with markers, making it harder to find a valid move. If a player can't make a legal move, they're eliminated, and the last player standing wins. With a playtime of just 10 to 20 minutes, Rect is a great game for a quick session, and its simple rules make it easy to learn and start playing right away.
