Description

Get ready to take to the skies in B-29 Superfortress, a solo board game that puts you in the cockpit of the most advanced bomber of World War II. As part of the Twentieth Air Force, you'll fly missions from the Marianas Islands to targets in and around Japan, facing a range of challenges along the way. With varied missions, including high and low level, day and night flights, you'll need to navigate through fighter attacks, flak, and bad weather to succeed. Your goal is to complete a tour of 35 missions and return home a hero, bringing the war with Japan to a close without a bloody invasion. With normal complexity rules, this 90-minute game is easy to learn for experienced board game players, and the simulation mechanics will keep you on the edge of your seat as you deal with damaged aircraft, lost oxygen supply, and other setbacks. Will you be able to overcome the obstacles and emerge victorious?
