Description

The Dutch Golden Age is a game that lets you experience the thrill of building your economic and cultural empire in 17th century Netherlands. Designed by Leo Colovini and Giuseppe Baù, this game is easy to learn and can be played by 3 to 4 players in about 60 minutes. The game takes place on a large board of the Netherlands, divided into provinces, where you'll compete to earn the most victory points by extending your influence, patronizing artists, investing in businesses, establishing colonies, and obtaining civic advancements. As you navigate the board, you'll have the opportunity to purchase cards from six different decks, each with its own special focus. You can collect sets of investment cards to earn big payouts, patronize artists to gain a potentially large source of victory points, or establish colonies to earn victory points and access to lucrative spice investments. With a variety of cards to choose from, including those that provide governorships, civic improvements, and special actions, you'll need to strategically plan your moves to outmaneuver your opponents and be the first to earn 33 victory points. With its unique blend of economic, cultural, and territorial development, The Dutch Golden Age is a game that will keep you engaged and challenged until the very end.
