Description
TAILITS is a strategic board game designed for two players, where you'll compete to create the largest group of connected squares in your color. The game is based on the Japanese logic puzzle LITS and draws inspiration from TAIJI, making it a unique and challenging experience. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, you'll be up and running in no time, taking turns placing L-, I-, T-, and S-shaped tetrominoes onto the grid. The twist is that each piece has two black and two white squares, so you'll need to think carefully about where to place them to maximize your chances of winning. As you play, you'll need to follow a few key restrictions to ensure a fun and fair game. Every new piece must share an edge with an existing piece, and no two congruent pieces can share an edge. Additionally, you can't cover all four cells in a 2x2 arrangement, which adds an extra layer of strategy to the game. With its abstract strategy mechanics and grid coverage gameplay, TAILITS is a game that will keep you on your toes. Designed by Grant Fikes and published in 2016, this base game is a great choice for fans of puzzle games and strategic thinking. The goal is simple: create the largest group of connected squares in your color and outmaneuver your opponent to win.
