Description

In the world of PowerCore: Call of Cthulhu, ancient beings of unimaginable power lurk in the shadows, waiting to unleash their wrath upon the world. As a player, you'll take on the role of an alliance of two nightmarish creatures from the Cthulhu mythos, each with their own unique abilities and powers. With a playtime of 30 to 60 minutes, you'll be immersed in a game of strategy and horror, as you navigate the complex rules and mechanics designed by Filip Głowacz and Błażej Kubacki. As you delve into the game, you'll generate Horror to power your abilities and effects, including summoning your Avatars to the field of battle. With each turn, you'll rotate the Power Cores on your Character cards, dealing damage to your opponent and gaining defense. You'll have to carefully manage your hand, using Take That and Variable Player Powers to outmaneuver your opponent. With only two players, the competition will be fierce, and the game will be won by the player who can deal enough damage to their opponent's Characters or force them to draw a card from an empty deck. Will you emerge victorious, or will your eternal legacy be wiped out by a being more cunning and ruthless than you?
