Description
In Decktective: The Will without an Heir, you and up to five friends take on the role of investigators trying to solve a mysterious murder case from 1698. The game is easy to learn, with simple rules that can be explained quickly, and plays out over about 60 minutes. As you work together, you'll share information and discuss clues to come up with theories about the crime. You'll play cards from your hand to share information, or discard them to the archive if you think they might lead you astray. Each card has a value, and you can only play certain cards based on how many are already in the archive. As you gather clues and piece together the story, you'll make hypotheses and deductions to try to solve the case. The goal is to answer questions correctly at the end of the game, earning points and achieving the best possible outcome.
