Description
In Star Scrappers: Cave-in, you'll take on the role of a galactic entrepreneur, competing against rival mining bosses to excavate the valuable Hexis crystals. Your goal is to collect as many victory points as possible before the mine collapses, and you'll need to recruit mercenary laborers, use their skills, and collect precious artifacts to get ahead. But beware - your competition is always looking for a chance to sabotage your efforts and steal your bounty. As you navigate the modular board, you'll perform actions like recruiting mercenaries, sending them to collect crystals, and using their special abilities. The game's unique discard-building mechanism adds a twist, where the order of your discarded cards matters, and other players can even steal your discard to gain an advantage. With multiple ways to earn victory points, including collecting crystals, artifacts, and sets of faction symbols, the player who schemes the best will come out on top.
