Description
Washington's War is a card-driven game that pits the forces of King George III against the American colonists as they fight for their independence. Designed by Mark Herman, this game is a true re-design of the original We the People, with a focus on deep strategy and a short playing time of approximately 90 minutes. The game features a dice-driven combat system that quickly resolves combat and is very friendly to internet play. In Washington's War, players take on the roles of either the King of Great Britain or the Continental Congress, each with their own unique strengths and weaknesses. The British have a dominant naval capability, while the Americans rely on unconventional forces and French intervention. The game's asymmetrical design creates a challenging and engaging experience, as players must adapt to their side's capabilities and vulnerabilities to emerge victorious.
