Description

Cauldron is a competitive board game where 2 to 5 players take on roles of powerful mystical characters, brewing potions to grow their magical power while casting spells to outmaneuver others. With easy-to-learn rules, players harvest ingredients like frog legs and spider webs, combining them to score Magik, the game's victory points and currency. Each character has unique powers, modifying basic actions and adding a layer of strategy to the game. As players take turns, they must balance short-term gains with long-term investments, deciding when to brew potions, cast spells, or add new fields to the game board. With a mix of luck, conflict, and resource management, Cauldron challenges players to plan and adapt to emerge victorious, reaching 35 Magik to win the game. Published in 2015, Cauldron offers a thrilling experience for players aged 10 and up, with playtime ranging from 60 to 90 minutes.
