Description

Velonimo is a fast-paced card game where 2 to 5 players compete to win the coveted "petits pois-carottes" jersey by racing to the summit. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this game is easy to pick up but hard to put down. Designed by Bruno Cathala and published in 2020, Velonimo combines betting and bluffing with ladder climbing mechanics to create an addictive play experience. Players take on the role of cyclists, using racer cards and breakaway specialist cards to speed ahead of the pack. The goal is to get rid of all your cards before other players to win each round, with points awarded for position. The player with the highest points total at the end of each round wears the coveted jersey, and the player wearing it at the end of the final round is declared the winner. With playtime lasting around 30 to 40 minutes, Velonimo is a quick and exciting game that's perfect for a fun night in with friends.
