Description

Angola is a game of strategy and tension, set during the violent and decades-long Angolan civil war. Players take on the roles of Soviet- and US-backed factions vying for control of Angola from 1975 to 1976. With a unique command and activation system, players must commit to the order in which they will activate their units, creating a sense of uncertainty and anticipation. As players navigate the map, they must balance boldness and caution to outmaneuver their opponents. The game's ingenious victory point system rewards good play and allows for dramatic reversals, keeping all players on the edge of their seats. With its normal complexity and engaging gameplay, Angola is a great fit for fans of board games, especially those interested in civil war and modern warfare simulations.
