Description
Winterhaven Woods is a fun and strategic card game where you help animals prepare for the long winter months. You'll plant trees, populate your woods with creatures, and even use predators to hunt exposed creatures in other players' meadows. With easy-to-learn rules, you can dive right into the game with 1 to 6 players, enjoying 15 to 20 minutes of light player interaction and customizable "take that" mechanics. As you draft cards and build your woods over three rounds, you'll collect predators and steal cards to outsmart your opponents. But be careful not to use too many steal cards, or you'll incur a penalty. With a variable setup and exciting set collection mechanics, Winterhaven Woods offers a unique experience each time you play. Designed by Joel Bodkin and published in 2022, this base game is a great introduction to the world of Winterhaven Woods, with the option to expand your gameplay with Winterhaven Woods: Winterhaven Wonders.
