Description
In Ettana: The Looms of Kanchi, players take on the role of weavers, competing to be the first to earn eight victory points, known as Annas. The game is set in the town of Kanchi, where the rich tradition of hand weaving still thrives. With a simple ruleset that's easy to learn, 2 to 4 players can enjoy this abstract strategy game in 25 to 60 minutes. As weavers, players roll dice to determine their actions, moving their pawns and swapping yarns to create patterns on the board. Action cards add a dynamic twist, allowing players to gain tokens, move extra spaces, or swap yarns. When a player's creation matches a design card in their hand, they can reveal it to score points. With its unique blend of dice rolling, grid movement, and pattern matching, Ettana: The Looms of Kanchi offers a fun and engaging experience for players of all skill levels.
