Description

Balanx is a fun and challenging 2 player abstract strategy game designed by Kris Burm. Players take turns moving their heavy glass marbles across a low plastic see-saw grid, trying to get them to their corner without any being left behind in their opponent's corner. The game is easy to learn, but don't let that fool you - it's a tough one to master, with a unique twist that adds an extra layer of complexity. Before each move, players hold the balancing board down on their side, causing the marbles to roll along the grooves and changing the setup entirely. Steel ball bearings also run in side grooves, affecting the balance of the board and making the game even more challenging. With a playtime of just 20 minutes, Balanx is a quick and exciting game that's perfect for a fun and competitive matchup, and its award-winning status as the "Best Abstract Strategy Game" is well deserved.
