Description

Eselspiel is a classic card game that's been entertaining players since 1965. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, it's easy to dive into a game with 2 to 8 friends. Each player starts with a pack of cards, and the goal is to get rid of them all by building up packs in ascending order. The twist is that you can place a card on top of another player's pack if it's one higher or one lower in number, adding a fun layer of strategy to the game. As the game unfolds, things can get pretty chaotic, especially when a card number 1 is turned and placed in the middle of the table, starting a new pack. If you're not paying attention and miss a chance to place a card, you'll be labeled a Donkey and have to take a card from each player. The first player to get rid of all their cards wins, making Eselspiel a fast-paced and exciting game that's perfect for families or casual game nights, with each playthrough lasting around 20 minutes.
