Description
Dungeon Lords: Festival Season is a massive expansion that breathes new life into the Dungeon Lords experience. Designed by the renowned Vlaada Chvátil, this 2012 release takes the core game to the next level, introducing a slew of exciting features that will keep you on your toes. With each year now consisting of five rounds - winter, spring, summer, autumn, and the aptly named festival season - you'll have more time to build and customize your dungeon, but beware, as adventurers will also have more opportunities to gather and launch larger parties. The expansion is packed with new monsters, rooms, traps, and spells, as well as two paladins per year who will punish evil players, adding a fresh layer of complexity and challenge. As you navigate the game's intricate mechanics, including action queues, hand management, and worker placement, you'll discover a wealth of new options and strategies. With only eight actions available, each season brings a new set of alternate spaces that offer intriguing choices, such as pushing other players toward evil or making investments instead of traditional gold digging. And, in a fun twist, Dungeon Lords can now have their own personal pets, because what's a dungeon without a loyal companion? The expansion also includes the mini expansion Dungeon Lords: The New Paladins, adding even more depth to the game. With its unique blend of adventure, economics, and fantasy, Dungeon Lords: Festival Season is sure to delight fans of the series and newcomers alike, offering 120 minutes of thrilling gameplay for 2 to 4 players.
