Description

Beachhead is a thrilling squad-level wargame set in the South Pacific during World War II, where 2 to 4 players can engage in intense island invasions. With a playtime of 90 minutes, players will navigate a hexagon grid, using dice rolling and grid movement to outmaneuver their opponents. The game's normal complexity makes it accessible to board game enthusiasts, who will appreciate the challenge of secret unit deployment and line of sight mechanics. In Beachhead, each hex represents 25 yards of terrain, and counters symbolize squads, heavy weapons teams, tanks, and other military units. Players can choose from two scenarios, including a counter-attack after an American Marine landing and a Marine landing on a heavily-defended beach.
