Description

In Asteroid, you're in for a thrilling adventure as one player takes on the role of a team of adventurers trying to stop a runaway mining asteroid from colliding with Earth, while the other player controls the evil computer brain running the mining station. The adventurers must use their unique skills, such as ranged and melee combat, computer hacking, and demolition expertise, to overcome the station's defenses, including nasty robots, and shut down the computer brain. With each character having their own strengths and weaknesses, you'll need to work together to succeed. As you navigate the modular board, which is secretly configured by the computer brain player, you'll encounter challenges and obstacles at every turn. The computer brain player will stop at nothing to prevent the adventurers from achieving their goal, deploying robots and using the station's defenses to thwart their progress. With multiple victory levels to aim for, including World Survival Victory and even an SPCA Victory involving the fate of a dog character named Sasha, the game is full of surprises and excitement. With easy-to-learn rules and a playtime of 120 to 180 minutes, Asteroid is a classic science fiction game that's perfect for two players looking for a fun and challenging experience.
