Description

In the not-so-distant future, Earth is desperate for resources and it's up to you to pilot a mining ship in the asteroid belt to find the riches needed to save the planet. In Off World Colonies, you'll use androids for labor and defensive armies on your mining claims, all while navigating the dangers of space and fending off a growing threat - the Naxos 7 androids, who are beginning to revolt against their lower class status. With simple rules that can be explained quickly, this game is easy to pick up and play, and its short 30-minute playtime makes it a great option for a quick gaming session. As you explore the asteroid belt, you'll have to manage your action points carefully, deciding whether to stake a claim on a new asteroid, mine for resources, or defend your territory from other players. With a modular board and a variety of possible actions, each game is unique and challenging. The game ends when a certain number of tiles have been flipped over, either due to being mined out or taken over by the Naxos 7 androids, and the player with the most credits is declared the winner. With its blend of exploration, territory building, and commodity speculation, Off World Colonies is a thrilling game for 1 to 3 players that's out of this world.
